Our team works at all hours to sprint their way towards building the fastest evolving texting-and-calling platform in the industry.

Every year, our product team of less than 40 ships an unbelievable 1,500 updates for Salesmsg. That’s about four new updates per day. 

They never slow down. They never stop. They just keep building. 

And you’ve seen the results inside Salesmsg. That’s how our team managed to roll out an entire new 2.0 platform this year—in about 90 days. All the while, they still maintained our 99.9% uptime, so you never had to worry about Salesmsg going out.

When you textize your business, you add text messages to specific moments in your customer journey. These tiny texts act as touch points to drive more leads and sales as your customer goes from being a stranger to your next raving fan.

This journey begins when a new lead comes to your website.

That brings me to #1…

Tiny Text #1: The Lead Qualifier

“Hey, I noticed you {booked a call/ signed up for a webinar, demo, sales appointment}. What do you hope to get out of it?”

I love this text because it’s so simple. By sending this text, you can save yourself the time and energy of trying to sell your product or service to someone who is not likely to buy.

To use this text message, add it to your automated workflow that leads see after they sign up for your sales demo, webinar, discovery call or other sales appointment to learn more about products or services.

By inviting leads to respond to your text, you get feedback. You can find out in minutes (instead of hours or days) if that person is a good customer for you.

Tiny Text #2: The Reminder

“Still coming to the meeting?”

This is one of my favorite texts to set up and automate. You can use it to remind any customers to show up for your webinar or sales demo.

We’ve had customers decrease their no-show rate by 20% or more just by adding this tiny text to their workflow.

It also has an unintended side effect: Customers who can’t make it to your meeting tend to respond and reschedule. This gives you a second chance to close deals. 

Tiny Text #3: The Check-in

“I noticed you just (checked in, arrived, bought my product or service). Is there anything I can do for you?”

I call this a check-in text. You send this tiny text after a customer purchases your product or service to see how they like it.

This provides an elevated level of service. Again, it’s as easy as adding this recurring tiny text to a workflow so that all new customers only see it once. 

Now go test these out in your business. Pass the gratitude along to your own customers.
