Here at Salesmsg, we had a chance to talk with Kaitlyn McGrath, CMO at Green Mango Pest Control last year to learn how she and her team used texting to qualify leads, follow-up with potential customers, send SMS broadcasts and more. 

Kaitlyn and her team used HubSpot and Salesmsg as their two main platforms to communicate with new leads and existing customers across their sales, marketing, and customer service departments.  

Finding the best SMS solution

We asked Kaitlyn if she could explain how their team first discovered Salesmsg and how they're using our texting platform to grow their business. 

As Kaitlyn said, "I was looking for a text messaging platform that fully integrated with HubSpot. Salesmsg was the first company I came across. So, I did some research, watched some of your videos, and we made the switch."

We were curious about the most significant impacts Green Mango Pest Control has seen since implementing Salesmsg. 

Here's what Kaitlyn said: "It's definitely improved our response time drastically. Now, we're able to set up Salesmsg in our HubSpot workflows, so when a lead status is updated, we automatically send out an automated text message. 

"Then, we have workflows created for different lead statuses. So, if we don't get a hold of someone the first time, then we send a new message variation, and so on and so forth."

"For every step of the lead process, we're sending out a text message, which is helping improve our close rate dramatically."

We asked Kaitlyn about her biggest marketing struggles before making the switch to Salesmsg. 

"With our previous business texting tool, we had to download the customer file and send it off to a third party, along with the message copy, and any GIFs, or other media. We had no real control over the sending and any associated data.”
